We've been in the retail industry for over 20 years and have experienced the challenges of running small businesses firsthand. As liquor store owners ourselves, we've tried dozens of point of sale systems. Most come with fancy bells and whistles, but still lacked a solution to the main challenge of running a liquor store: inventory management. So, we set out on a path to eliminate the manual labor required to keep up with stock. After simplifying inventory management, we used state-of-the-art machine learning to easily identify items in the store that add no value. This helps owners keep their money from being tied up in inventory.
We spent over two years developing and refining Bottle POS' software in our own stores. Then we slowly implemented it to our families’ and friends’ stores for feedback and additional refining. This created a feedback loop directly from front-line employees and owners that allows us to release features and changes to our system quickly.
